Wonder Book...
Question i have to answer about the book wonder, 11-43.
1. If August could have any wish it be to like an ordinary kid because that is what he would want to do.
2. What do you think it means to be ordinary? To do what you do.
August is extraordinary because he had 27 surgery.
3.How do people react when they see Augusts face for the first time?They just look at him and then look straight at the ground.
4.August's dad said, "So sending him off to middle school like a lamb of the slaughter..."
What does this mean? I think it means that the students at school would mock him not talk to him.
5.Would you send August to school if you were August's mum or dad?
Yes so people get used to him and so he makes new friends.
6.What white lie did August's mum tell? That they made him do a test to get into the school.
7. Auggie decided that he liked Mrs. Garcia - when she wasn't wearing her shiny smile. What is a shiny smile? It is a smile that makes it look like you are actually smiling but you have to do it
